The Falls Golf Resort and Club, New Ulm, Texas

  This course is located in the middle of nowhere...literally, but it is my, as well as my husband's favorite place to get away for the weekend. Beautifully manicured tee box to green. The deer are like pets as they sit on the lawn in the evening almost within reach. Nice facilities. Dining is limited to the club facility, Cascades Restaurant only open in the evenings and a local restaurant about 5 miles from the course called Texas Star Cafe which serves fantastic home cooked meals. We haven't ever really ventured any further for food but I heard that there is a German restaurant nearby.
